Friday 3rd August 2018 Line Up

The Fanantic

 

An indie rock band from Staffordshire 

 

Glory Fades-  

 

An alternative rock band from Wolverhampton, the band specialise in infectios rock tunes that burrow their way into your cerebral cortex and stay the hell there!

 

Big Wolf Band -  "A rock, blues powerhouse"

 

Big Wolf Band are a blues rock powerhouse with a distinctive guitar style and an array of self-penned tracks. Backed by the talents of Mick Jeynes (bass) Tim Jones (drums) and Paul Brambani (keys) the band delivers every time. Energy filled sets, spontaneous improvised breaks, dynamic highs and lows, the band excel at bringing a song down to a whisper before exploding with the energy and power that captures the true meaning of live music!

 

 

Man's Ruin - "Everything heavier than everyone else"

 

A five piece hard rock covers band based in the Midlands. Featuring overs from Metallica, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Royal Blood, Motorhead and more.

Best Shot

 

Best Shot are a five piece Midlands-based band who have a stunning repetoire of modern and classic rock, pop and funk.

 

They offer something for everyone - guaranteed to have the arena dancing.

 

 

Soul Child

 

A Midlands-based band who write and cover upbeat soul, jazz and blues.

 

Soul Child have been around for many years. Splitting 12 years ago after playing great venues like Ronnie Scott's and The Jam House, Soul Child are back together with exciting new vocalist Yvonne Thompson and are currently writing and recording their third album.

 

The Electric Cult 

 

 

Staffordshire-based The Electric Cult pay homage to one of the most seminal bands of the 80's and early 90's, The Cult, Playing tracks from acclaimed albums Dreamtime, Love, Electric and Sonic Temple

 

The five-piece also covers earlier incarnations The Southern Death Cult with punk classics Fatman and Moya.

 

 

Hannah Paris

 

Solo Country/Pop artist Hannah Paris now has a 5 piece band, Jake Priestly on Lead Guitar, Sam Durham on Drums, Henry James Green on Bass and Fraser Paris on Rhythm Guitar. With this change, Hannah brings her sound to a whole new level. With lyrics and melodies written from the heart and Southern Rock lead guitar rifts leaving you wanting more.

 

One Thousand Pieces

 

One Thousand Pieces are feature reunion of three original members of 'Brave', who hit the circuit in the 1980's with their unique style of contemporary rock. After a few years they decided to part ways to follow other ventures but left a legacy of some timeless class songs recorded at Ritch Bitch in Birmingham and Livingstone Studios in London. Tim (lead guitar) moved over to sessionwork for some top recording artists; Jeff (bass guitar) changed music direction and ultimatley fronted 'The Bad Rats' whilst Glyn (lead vocals and guitar) formed the successful rock outfit 'Mindfeed' and also then took the front position in 'Threshold' which he still owns today.

 

1000 Pieces are newly formed in 2017 and have pooled together their years of musical experience to give a truly professional live act of melodic metal with a hint of prog rock - enjoyed by different audiences across the board.

 

 

 

 

Tin Soldier - "Top level musicians with superb showmanship and a set full of surprises"

 

Formed in September 2017, Tin Soldier is a four piece rock covers band in the West Midlands. Featuring former Samson & First Strike vocalist Mick White, as well as ex-members of 51 Stone, Tim Haddon and Paul 'Tufty" Handley on guitars and drums respectively, the band are completed by former R.O.A.R bass player and vocalist Paul 'Gibbo' Gibbons (also known as the Brownhills breeze block bodger)!

 

The band have put together an eclectic mix of classic rock covers outside of the normal rock cover band standards that will nevertheless still be greeted as old friends. With sets that boast songs from Deep Purple, Montrose, Black Sabbath, Rush, The Cult, U.F.O, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Foreigner, Bad Company, Whit, this is a band that will rock your world!

Arran Page

 

Arran Page began his professional music career as the reluctant frontman for Cannock-based group Lipzkin, after paying his dues on the local circuit and becoming a familiar fixture busking in his hometown for several years. That all changed when he and his former bandmates were signed to Molaman Records' successful sub-label Solrpony Muzik in the fall of 2013. Fans quickly became entralled with the emotionally charged guitar strumming tenor and within weeks the trio played the presigious 02 Academy's o3 Stage. While the band only released one album and single both were underground hits and spawned legions of fans in the UK and abroad.

 

James Harbridge

 

A rocker from the Black Country with strong roots in the Birmingham musice Scene, ths is his firs excursion into the field of Americana music, it turns out to be no surprise he sounds so at home in it.

 

Ella Hayes

 

Ella has been making music since she was 8 years old and has played at many festivals over the years. She has supported artists such as Dr. Feelgood and provided vocals for many TV commercials. She performs her own music as well as covers.

 

 

Skyfoil

 

Skyfoil are a two piece acoustic rock band from Stafford and Telford. They have been performing together since 2014, and have played at some of the UK's major venues supporting the likes of Andy Cairns (Therapy) Toni Wright (Terrorvision) and Four Star Mary (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). They are currently touring and promoting their latest CD. Expect up-tempo, feel good summertime acoustic music.

 

Tinalien

A keyboard player, singer and song writer in the genres of blues, soul and funk.
